Suede wrapped acoustic pane is characterized by a profile of semi-circular slats, which most resemble broomsticks sawn lengthwise. The slats, made of MDF, are covered with a soft leather such as suède. They are attached to a surface of (recycled) felt. These shapes and materials absorb sounds to a large extent and the reverberation, the hollow sound, is therefore greatly reduced.
